Kartal Services Group – shaping a vision of security through branding

Visual identity for a new international brand.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Research and Analysis
  • Branding Workshops
  • Visual Identity

Kartal Services Group, a new company in the international security market, approached us to discover its brand identity and develop a visual identity. Our task was to create a brand grounded in values such as hard work, trust, ethics, and determination.

Key goals and project challenges

  • Understanding the brand’s character.
  • Building a unique brand identity.
  • Developing visual communication.
  • Designing brand graphic elements and promotional materials.
  • Differentiating the brand in the international market.

Discovering Kartal Services Group’s identity

Creating a strong brand requires a deep understanding of its mission, vision, and values. We use the Design Thinking methodology to explore the needs and challenges of the brand. Through analysis, client interviews, and creative sessions, we generated new ideas and solutions.

Kartal’s Visual Identity

The name Kartal originates from Turkish and means “eagle” or “king of birds.” The brand’s logo features a minimalist icon of an eagle in flight, inspired by the letter K, symbolizing proactivity and strength. The typography used in the logo combines a modern character with a technical, geometric style, providing a bold, professional look that stands out from standard designs.

The brand’s story in colors

We chose subtle shades of beige, sand, and gray as base colors. To give the brand a more dynamic feel, we introduced accents of vibrant orange. The contrasting color draws attention and symbolizes energy and strength, perfectly balancing the neutral tones.

Each color was selected with visual harmony in mind and to represent the brand effectively across digital and print marketing materials.

Visualizing the brand in action

We created a cohesive and appealing set of visualizations showcasing the new logo in various formats – from business cards and posters to apparel designs. Each element allowed the client to envision how the new visual identity would function in real-world applications.

“We engaged the IVN team on a branding project for a new business in a very complex industry. The team set up a very engaging branding workshop, where they managed to hit the look, feel, and goals of what we wanted our brand to represent. Afterwords delivering a polished, well designed logo & brand book and matketing materials. We look forward to continuing the build out the branding needs as the business grows. “
